Piano Project Presents

The NPCO is proud to perform for the Piano Project’s Autumn Recital, on Sunday 29th May. The concert will be held in the dramatic, old stone Meat Market in North Melbourne, led by Artistic Director/Pianist Gemma Turvey and featuring flugelhornist Gianni Marinucci and core members of NPCO.*

Piano Project is an inspired Melbourne-based venture that sponsors piano lessons for children who are new immigrants to Australia and also hosts recitals featuring the piano in unexpected spaces.

Their piano education program provides access to classical piano in environments where children who are new immigrants can participate. Piano Project organise the availability of a piano, tuition and the opportunity to practise.
