Gemma Turvey performs in Newport

NPCO Artistic Director Gemma Turvey recently performed a solo piano recital in Newport, Rhode Island on Wednesday 6th July.

Performing at the Redwood Library & Athenaeum, Gemma presented an intimate recital of works inspired by the Australian landscape including some NPCO favourites; Turqouise, Heritage and of course¬†Fremantle, alongside Peter Sculthorpe’s Stars and an improvisation based on his transcribed traditional melody¬†Djilile.
